Hololio Pony Park

Fun, safe riding for children and their families

The Hololio Pony Park at 110 Monument Rd, Clevedon is directly opposite the new entrance to the expanded Clevedon Showgrounds (including Clevedon Pony Club, Adult Riding Group, and Auckland and Manukau Dressage Group facilities).

Hololio Pony Park is a teaching, grazing and livery facility for ponies and their riders.

The Clevedon Riding School is a co-operative between Hololio Farm and the Instructors. We use Hololio and the Instructor’s ponies to offer fun, safe riding for children and their families.

The Pony Park is also used by the Hololio Polo Club for pony training and Polo lessons for children and adults. See the Polo pages for more information.

Arena

We have a 40m x 30m sand arena (pictured above); a metalled parking area, tie rail, seating for parents, and a play area for toddlers.

Riding Track

The “Lion Hunt Track” (pictured on the right) is a gently sloping track through an adjacent gully, which provides learners with safe out-of-arena riding and experience through rolling terrain.

Wairoa River

For special occasions, riding through the farm and down to the river is welcome by arrangement.

Grazing

$35 plus GST per week

Pony Club Lease Pony

$50 plus GST per week ($80 for two days).
Lease a fully managed pony for the Clevedon Pony Club across the road.

Peewee and Keewee Polo

Peewee and Keewee Polo use the Pony Park ponies but are run separately through the Polo Club.
